Emergency First Response is one of the biggest and the best known international, first aid and medical rescue training organization. The organization has trained first aid rescuers for last 40 years and issues over 500,000 certificates every year.
The EFR courses give a professional qualification, recognized worldwide, in Primary and Secondary care. Such qualifications are often vital, for example for scuba diving qualifications.
Emergency First Response's programmes and training materials are based on patient care standards as published in the American Heart Association Guidelines 2005 Standards for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care, and the consensus view of the Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). ILCOR is an international standards group representing most of the world's major resuscitation organizations.
PRIMARY CARE (CPR)
Primary Care (CPR) training course teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course includes BLS/AED (Basic Life Support/ Automatic External Defibrillation) standards. It will teach participants the basic life saving and resuscitation skills and how to use the Automated External Defibrillator(AED).
SECONDARY CARE (First Aid)
Secondary Care (first aid) course covers treating injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening.
We suggest taking both, Primary and Secondary care courses together as one training course.
CARE FOR CHILDREN
This training course is supplementary to Primary and Secondary training courses, but can be taken as a separate course. It is aimed at parents and anyone who works with children.
